The Dougherty Valley San Ramon Rotary Foundation was established in 2011 as the charitable arm of the Dougherty Valley San Ramon Rotary Club. The club, chartered in 2010, intentionally targets a younger and more diverse membership with a lower dues structure, a sunset meeting time, and an emphasis on hands-on community service. ​​

Truck Time is a family-friendly, interactive, outdoor festival and an opportunity for families to discover and explore trucks and vehicles that they see all around them. Operators will be on hand to answer questions, some may even let you climb in and explore!

The primary beneficiary for our event this year was the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation.  The proceeds from our Penny Pitch went to The Rotary Foundation, specifically to the Polio Plus Campaign that seeks to eradicate polio from the world.

The DVSR Rotary Foundation mission is to raise money and make charitable contributions directed at youth & education within the San Ramon area and/or California, as well as causes which alleviate suffering in a time of crisis, including: ​
  • Contributions to schools and for educational scholarships
  • Charitable contributions for youth activities and to youth organizations within, or substantially benefiting, the San Ramon area, our County and/or California
  • Charitable organizations within, or substantially benefiting, the San Ramon area, our County and/or California
  • Support of Rotary International and the many causes of the Rotary Foundation, which include eradicating polio from the face of the earth once and for all. 
The DVSR Foundation Board has ultimate authority and discretion to use contributions at our discretion for purposes consistent with our exempt purposes.
